Tryst with MCQs

Another pain point of every grade 2 classroom is answering of multiple choice questions. Explaining to a 2nd grader why there is only one right answer to the question asked is kind of like discussing Proust

Students of 2B love to see every option as an answer and hence tick all of them. After intense conversations, tears and bribing, together we decided we will tick just one answer.

The next assessment that happened was on ascending and descending order.  And voila! Instead of choosing one answer, they decided to arrange every option in the question paper in both ascending and descending order (lest we miss something!).

Needless to say the 10 mark test did not finish in time and let us not even talk about the class average on this one.
